Deano's (Dean o's) Westside Pub - Janesville, Wisconsin - Cheap beer
This entry was posted on 1/13/2010 3:45 AM and is filed under Cheap beer,Taverns - Wisconsin-esque.
We're looking for good cheap beer here folks. Deano's Westside Pub on...the "west" side of Janesville, Wisconsin accommodates this agenda.
First of all, the old lighted beer sign says Dean o's with a space between the "n" and the "o." The sign on the outside wall connects the whole name. This observation is a digression in to my incredulous interest into odd Janesville restaurant and tavern names. There is a Cool Dadio eatery-tavern name analysis pending for one of these days.
None-the-less, find Miller Lite mugs for 75 cents and glasses for 50 cents on Wednesday nights - 'til closing.
They boast a good wood bar and a dandy foot rest. I like to stand when I belly up to a bar - can't sit; legs once went to hell and now have been repaired - but I must have that one foot on a foot rail.
Do keep in mind, you might find a gaggle of old dudes and bar chicks sitting around the loop-bar, but they are harmless. This is a Wisconsin tavern - damn it! - Not a theater venue on Times Square.
Dean o's (Deano's) Westside Pub is cool with Cool Dadio. Find them at 2523 West Wall Street, Janesville, Wisconsin. They are just off Crosby and Court as you head out of Janesville to Monroe on the west side. Call: (608) 754 - 5889 for more information.
