PoliticoDadio -- Favre - we never noticed he could not construct complete sentences
This entry was posted on 7/17/2008 3:37 AM and is filed under PoliticoDadio,Cool Dadio Sports Desk.
This Cool Dadio Media exclusive just in: Realizing the last time he had a real job outside of football was perhaps some job like paper boy at 12 years old, Brett Favre panics, ends his three-month retirement and decides he needs to play the game until he can collect Social Security - just to be safe. Favre to return to somebody's game.
Unlike Phil Simms, Troy Aikman, and heaven forbid Howie Long (a "defensive" player for god's sake - we all know they can't spell cat if we spot them the 'c' and the 't'), Brett Favre, instead of tooling up for a career after f-o-o-t-b-a-l-l like sports announcing or color commentary, decides the only marketable skill he has outside of the game is whining. But to Favre's credit, to my knowledge, actually none of the actors squabbling with and including Favre have ever mentioned that, yes this icon career/retirement thing is complicated, but, a whole bunch of military service people have died in the last seven years in Afghanistan and Iraq and well, that kind of thing is far more important than my fat ego.
Nice going elitist sports putzes. We knew if given a chance you would muck up your images yet again - we did not have to wait long - of course!
