Hanson's Bar and Grill - Beloit - Friday Night Fish Fry

This entry was posted on 6/27/2008 2:13 PM and is filed under Friday Night Fish Fry.

Heide and I finally got down to Hanson's Bar and Grill in Beloit again.  Since we were there last, the interior has had quite a face lift with a nautical theme.

Heide tried the fried Walleye and I opted for the two-piece deep-fried Cod.  The Cod was tender and there was ample portions of the Walleye on Heide's plate. Heide went for the baked potato and I tried fries. Hanson's is one of those few places that remembers to dish up an order of baked beans with the fish.  Although they have a quasi-supper-club flare now with the new look, the cole slaw came tavern-esque in the good old cup.

Hanson's is cool with Cool Dadio.  Don't forget to put them on your Friday fish list. You will find them up the hill at 615 Cranston Road, just off Riverside Drive (Highway 51).  Call (608) 313-8797 for more information.
